Desk-bound

My study and I have made peace, which is just as well because I have been spending hours there. Not blogging or surfing the net, but programming, programming, planning, researching......I'm loving my new Ikea trestle desk with its glass top and flower pattern. The old solid pine unit has decided to stay, as it is too heavy to easily take downstairs and because the Salvation Army can't pick up unless I take it downstairs. Eliza is pleased, because she says it is older than her and she always remembers it being around. So she can have it when she gets her own place! Meanwhile, I have used it to display my mini-busrolls from Cal at i love life, and it kind of works as a display board. It is also full of curricula etc, so it has a job to do. So do I, so back to work for me...

Love the trestle. Pat and I saw them in the store and loved them, but Pat needed a loooonnnggg table so bought the plain version, extra long. It must be a good impetous for work, pulling you upstairs....
