Eat your hearts out, Paull in NYC and Eliza in Ibiza, your Momma went to Revesby Markets on Saturday. The band played Waltzing Matilda (really), the scout group's sausages sizzled, the Lemon Myrtle products stallholder told me all my women friends would be jealous if I started using his moisturiser. There were cupcakes, hats, jewellery, tea tree products, assorted junk, unusual finds, on a beautiful spring-like day. I did feel as if I was in a country town circa 1950. Actually I have been to markets from Covent Garden, London to Eumundi, Queensland, from Paris to New York, and I love the market vibe - it's the same all over the world.

Jealous!!! I can picture it and nearly smell it - something very Australian about that scene.
I love markets too, one of my favorites is the Gympie Farmers market- lots of great antiques, tomato jam and sponge cakes.
I love this!!! We must go when I get home!
