SoHo, So Good

Things I did not buy for Eliza in SoHo:
  1. "I Love Pink" tracksuit
  2. Cupcake Post-It notes
  3. Guess pink snakeskin hand luggage
  4. Knee length leopard skin boots
  5. Long T-shirt printed with red ballet slippers saying "Fame"
  6. "In the Pink" body spray
- but I did buy her some cute things, which will be a surprise so I can't tell you what. I had a lovely jet-lag recovery day, beginning with breakfast in a really cute cafe (The Grey Dog) (Irish Oatmeal with blueberries & banana, bowl of latte) moving on to lunch in Mulberry Street (Little Italy, so spaghetti puttenesca) followed by shopping in SoHo (mostly window shopping, sorry Eliza) then a longish walk back to East 10th Street for a rest, to get my strength back for dinner with Paull at a really nice restaurant on his block (okay, spinach fettucine with lamb ragout). My camera batteries died early on, so many photo ops. passed me by. There goes my new career as a photographer of NYC. Maybe tomorrow!
