Feng Shui?

I've spent a lot of this holiday week cleaning out cupboards, taking stuff to the charity shop, sorting, boxing, chucking out, fixing things, paying tradespeople to fix things - and maybe it is feng-shui, but the house feels good and I feel organised and revitalised. I've lived here for nine years come September - which is the LONGEST I have ever lived anywhere, in my whole life! I absolutely love my little hobbit-house, but without a move to force a clean-up, things were piling up in the garage and back of cupboards. NO MORE! It's gone. Now, to turn the garage into a studio........

When you hold onto items you don't need, you are holding onto energy and worries you don't need. According to Feng Shui, when you remove these items from your life, you not only remove the negative energy, but you also make room for more positive energy to come into your life. The logical question is, is it possible to de-clutter with a house full of?
some how I doubt it.
But your hobbit house sounds so inviting!

I know what you mean. I move houses (sometimes countries or continents) every couple of years. It's amazing how much "stuff" is added to your like over a short period of time.

Glad you feel "lighter" now. Your home sounds wonderful!

I'm big on Feng Shui and decluttering - pity the rest of the family isn't! Yay! a studio!

I am so into this post and have been having a sort of feng shui tantrum lately, - throwing out all sorts of clutter and "stuff".
It feels good, doesn't it....I can actually feel a new energy opening up in my apartment.
