A first...

I can't believe it, I just attended my first ever Tupperware party. The scary thing is, it was not at all dissimilar to the picture here. (Google images tupperware selection is vast).

The twist ? It was organised by a young man from work and the guests included a couple of men sipping beers. I love it when I see gender lines blurring, especially regarding housework and childcare.

Oh, I bought some things - a fuschia pink water bottle for my daughter (with a sneaky screw in compartment to hide keys) and a lunchbox for me. (no need for wrap - just put the bread in the box). Awesome.

OMG...Tupperware...haven't been to one of those since the days when it was actually an exciting night out without kids! Sounds like things have really changed in 30 years though. (love that picture)

...and to Paull, as my long dead Scottish grandmother used to say to me...never say never 'cause you're nay dead yet lassie!

Alright, I confess that I attended one 15 years ago and my memory of it is just like the picture too - we even played games! And I am still using the stuff I bought today. They do have some very cool ideas on what to do with plastic. I'd like one of those lunch boxes, but I would have to go to a tupperware party to get one!

Oh wow. I haven't been to one in decades!! Bet it was the same then as now. I tend to have science experiments going on in my fridge, so I find much cheaper things to store them in until it's time to throw them out. Shame on me.
