Zen and the art of taking one day at a time...

I seem to have a new-found zen-ness, from just being unable to do certain things, so it is what it is, and all that. Since breaking my arm, I've met some lovely people, had in-depth conversations with strangers, patiently waited for taxi cabs, serenely travelled on buses and trains, been helped by kindly bus drivers and station assistants, been forced to ask for help from friends who are so happy to help, received unasked help from friends just when I needed it, found a travel-buddy who is in year 5 at my school, and learned to prepare everything the night before for a quick easy get-away in the morning. I get to work feeling organised because I have read through things on the bus, and hey, I don't sweat the small stuff any more!

Glad your injury is not holding you back Cate! Are you typing one handed too?

All things have a silver lining, apparently even breaking your arm! Glad you are coping so well - it's sometimes hard to accept help so I am happy to hear that you are doing so. Mend quickly! LOVE that picture in your post!!

That is a beautiful image. I also liked your previous blog about the things you've discovered regarding your auto mishap.
