Our Art Gallery opens late every Wednesday evening, with talks, films, music, food and wine - hey, some of my favourite things. This week they had 'drop in' sketching classes in the sculpture gallery, so I organised a teacher friend (we have so much more energy in school holidays) and off we went. Afternoon tea overlooking the harbour, a walk through the new Aboriginal section, an hour of sketching, then a restorative wine with dinner and chamber music. It was the coldest day of the year, apparently, but we had a ball.
